It's pretty, shiny, can be finished with a wide variety of looks, very durable, and a hell of a lot more affordable. And needless to say, I wasn't expecting Brian to beggar himself nor planning to beggar myself, regardless of what debeers would have us think.

DeBeers can go bite themselves. If anybody is going to spend that much money, they ought to spend it on something useful, not on a shiny piece of carbon and metal that the Script(tm) says they should have and which doesn't do all that much. Engagement scooter? Sounds right to me. :) (Personally, I'd take a computer, but given they tend to go obsolete...)

And titanium is hella more durable for sure.
