I'm still not convinced I even like PDF books, especailly when the publishers seem to avoid taking advantage of the features of PDFs to make them more useful and easy to use. The table of contents for that free core rules is pathetic -- and it's not the only place I've seen such uselessness. When you've got a format like PDF, there's no excuse for you to only have pointers to the chapter starts (and the comic at the end -- WTF?). You should have links to every stupid little heading in existence. It makes me sad (and not happy sad) that publishers feel they can do a little more than scan the book and *poof*, electronic format! And while I'm ranting at DTRPG/WW for this case, I've seen it in plenty of other places as well.
